The First Signing of the MLB Offseason Is Here!
The first signing (and re-signing) of the of the offseason is here because the Mariners just re-signed Josh Naylor, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN.
BREAKING: First baseman Josh Naylor and the Seattle Mariners are finalizing a five-year contract, sources familiar with the deal tell ESPN. The first major free agent to sign this winter goes back to Seattle, where he was beloved after joining the Mariners in a deadline trade.

The contract is for 5 years (2026-2031), and $92.5 million. Ari Alexander of WHDH reported that the contract is in the range of $90-$100 million.

Then Ken Rosenthal announced the financials of the deal.

Robert Murray of FanSided later reported that Josh Naylor has a NTC (No-Trade Clause), and a $6.5 million dollar signing bonus.
