Whether he’s calling a HR or sharing a funny story, you can tell that Mick actually likes calling games, and is into the game. His deep knowledge of baseball, and his enthusiasm for the game, put him, in my opinion, above most of the Chicago Cubs announcers. To put it simply, Mick Gillispie makes MiLB even more enjoyable to watch and listen to with his energetic calls. His YouTube channel also brings a passionate, and fun analysis of that day’s Chicago Cubs news. “Mick also isn’t afraid to share some criticism on the Cubs, which I respect as he is the Cubs MiLB announcer”
